Path of Imams Is Path of Resistance, Reason: Ayatollah Khamenei
Addressing a ceremony held to mourn the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Sadiq (AS), the Leader added that the lesson from the Imams (AS) is the lesson of logic and reasoning.
Anyone who stands up (against oppression and injustice) is walking in the line of the Imams (AS), Ayatollah Khamenei stated.
“And today, those who are standing (and resisting) in Gaza, in Lebanon, they are actually working in the line of the Imams (AS).”
Referring to the life of the sixth Imam (AS), the Leader said, “Certainly, the life of Imam Sadiq (AS) was extraordinary, remarkable, and successful in terms of spreading divine laws and the numerous narrations we have from him and his companions.
“Of course, when it is said that he had four thousand students, a listener might imagine that he would start a lesson and four thousand people would sit there listening. But it was not like that.

“Over the course of his lifetime, four thousand people narrated from him—as recorded in that book—meaning he had four thousand narrators. This means four thousand students in that sense, not that four thousand people would gather at once to attend his lessons.”
